Bridging Gaps Through Education: Kalmyk State University at the II Indo-Russian Education Summit 2026

Kalmyk State University marked a strong presence in the II Indo-Russian Education Summit 2026, an education event conducted to foster academic cooperation between India and Russia. The two-day summit was held on 28th and 29th May 2026 at Le Méridien, New Delhi.

The summit brought together more than 100 universities from Russia and India, along with over 200 delegates, policymakers, academicians, researchers, and education experts. It also featured 25+ speakers and four panel discussions focused on the future of education, research, and international collaboration.

The summit was organised to strengthen educational ties between India and Russia by encouraging academic partnerships, student mobility, research collaboration, and higher education opportunities.

It provided an excellent platform for universities, educators, and policymakers from both countries to exchange ideas and explore new possibilities in the field of education. 4 panel discussions were held on the first day of the summit, where renowned speakers shared their insights on improving educational standards and creating stronger international academic connections.

Kalmyk State University also participated in the exhibition held on the second day of the summit, and interacted with students and parents, providing information about studying MBBS in Russia and other courses available at the university.

The summit included a variety of activities such as panel discussions, exhibitions, presentations, workshops, and networking sessions. It served as an excellent opportunity for institutions from India and Russia to build meaningful partnerships and promote educational excellence.
